Hey guys! I've decided to paint my hood and maybe bumper cover myself, hopefully i don't screw it up too badly!

Can someone tell me what kind of black paint to buy and where?? Also, how much i will be needing?? Any tips would be greatly appreciated as i've never tried my hand at automotive painting before. Thanks in advance

 

I'm not sure which character in the VIN# it is, but one of them is the code for your paint. I'd call you local dealer, read them your VIN# and they should be able to tell you.

the paint code can be found on the info sticker on the inside of the door. its usually a 2 or 3 letter code. bring that code to your local automotive paint supply store (finish master, painter supply co. ect) and they can mix up that color for you. they should also be able to tell you how much you will need as well as find the paint code if you cant find it.
