no it shouldnt stop you but you need to get some records for maintence from the po and youll also need to keep in mind the condition of the leather and how they have been taken care of.

How much are they wanting for it? Does the truck look like it has 165K on it? If not, thats usually a sign its been at least somewhat taken care of. You can also request them to take it to a Ford dealership and have them check it out as if they were going to sell it as a used car themselves. I've done this on 2 vehicles I've sold in the past for their buyers.

that sounds like a really good deal. assuming the truck has the 5.4 correct? what color. any pics.

on the mufflers you can get a new muffler or two for about 40 each and then have the ones in there now replaced cheap.

you said it has dual exhaust now but you want to change the muffler. that would run you about 40-80 bucks in parts plus the install of swapping the mufflers which wouldnt be that expensive.

if this isnt what you want just let me know if im getting confused haha

I bought my lariat with 145k miles.....runs great, just check it over good make sure no motor noises, check the color of the trans fluid and if its sticky or not, look over the drivers seat..my interior is immaculate, new floor mats and seat has no rips just some wear marks..
