HELP! 2000 4x4 Front hub. I can't get it off!

I've pulled all the bolts and it's ready to go. The axle shaft moves freely in the hub. I've beat it with hammers. I've tried a chisel and air hammer to get in between the hub and the spindle (if that's what it's called). All to no avail. It's dark now so it'll have to wait until tomorrow it's soaking in PB Blast for the night. Any ideas on a way to pull or pop this damn hub assembly out?!

Thanks in advance!

Not sure what exactly you need. But this how to I found a while back on how to replace the ball joints shows how to disassemble everything up front. Maybe what your looking for is in here:

Good luck,

It's all disassembled. The hub seems to be rusted into the knuckle. I can't pound it off, I can't pry it off. Is there a way to pull it off?

you have options here.

- you can try heating the spindle if you have access to a torch, heat the spindle not the hub assembly.

If you are replacing the hub assembly you can pound the crap out of it with a BFH.

You could also remove the CV axle and pound on it from right on the back of it with a large socket and a hammer.

I'll try pulling the axle when I get home from work today and hitting from the back side tonight.
