bumper problems

okay, so i have a chrome plated front bumper on my 01 screw. funny story here..
my brother pulled into the garage somehow got a little sideways, well when we was trying to back out, he ramped out go-cart, and hit the side of the garage, pulled back forward, hit some paint, then finally got out. well in the process he bent the driver side corner of the front bumper, i was wondering if i would be able to find a way to bend that back down, or if i was going to have to get a replacement bumper???

also on my tail gate, i was wondering if yall think i would be able to just do some of my bondo magic to take the dent out and get it painted, i think i would probably be able to bondo and paint it cheaper than buying a replacement and paint it..

i want to fix my truck up nice because unless i do something stupid to it, i will have her atleast through NTI and UNCC (if i get to go there)

first of all, kick your brothers ***, then hide your keys. you'll need a new bumper, they run about 250 from tousleyfordparts.com and I'd get a repro tailgate off ebay or from somewhere for 1-200 bucks..or maybe a wrecking yard..if your lucky.

Don't you have an inner tail gate access panel that unbolts so to knock out most of that scar?

maybe repairable

if i were you i would hit up the local body shop and see if they can straiten it w/ a frame machine.. prolly cheaper that way.. a buddy of mine had his bumper brackets all messed up and its looks perfect of the frame guys got ahold of it.. f/ what i see there is no crease so i think u can get away w/ that
