Will Ext. Cab 40/60 bench work in a reg. cab?

I have a 99 F-150 XL regular cab with a stick. Will the 40/60 split bench from an extended cab work. I know that it will bolt in after I tap the holes, but my question is as far as the differences in the seat belts being on the seats themselves and also the recline adjustment on the Ext. Cab seats. I know that I won't be able to recline in the seats, or at least not much, but I just wanted to make sure the seats would fit with different standard angle of the back to the seat.

Anyone done this speciffically?

Thanks.

Robert

I've seen a few members successfully do this mod on their XL trucks. Specifically, one that I can think of, is Fairlaner. I'm sure he'll drop by and give you some info. Or you can search some of his posts.

Edit: actually, here is a link to a recent post on this exact subject. However, yours is a 99' and in this scenario it was an 02'. Not sure if it matters or not.
