How much should i sell for???

i am trying to sell my 03 supercab stepside fx4 lariat. it has 62kmiles on it. black with tan at the bottom. power everytihing, leather, 6 disk changer, lots of mods including: 6in fabtech lift, 3in body lift, cobrahood cowl hood, bull bar, tint, dual exhaust, 37in toyo tires, 18 inch rims, and a toolbox. I checked kbb and they had retail listed a lil over 17k. I am trying to get 18k for it. What do you think?? ( anyone interested in buying the truck shoot me an email at stonehedzombie@yahoo.com )

In today's market, mods don't really add value to a vehicle. Run it through KBB again, and look at PRIVATE PARTY value in "Good" condition. If retail KBB is 17k, you are dreaming if you expect to get 18k for it. You are looking at more like 10k.

Depends on condition. If it is excellent or close to it then I would say you should expect 16-17. It also depends on the location and how that locations market is doing. Such as if more people in your area are buying cars instead of trucks you would have to go lower to get a resonably quick sell. glc 10k is a long way off on the value cause I will tell you that if it is in good condition I would pay around 16-17 for it. I just bought an 01 f150 ext. cab styleside with 70k miles mostly stock for 11 and that was the best price I have seen around here in NC.

If you lived here in Ohio you could probably almost get that. Trucks are CRAZY HIGH here! Probably looking more around the 15K mark here but as said earlier, the mods really dont add anything to value. Sorry Im not much help other than that.

We just bought a 4.6 Single Cab XLT with 3500 miles (2004) for 4000, so I would say expect 10k at most. No body on the market is going to look at your truck because of the mods, a stock F150 will sell about the same as yours, if not quicker because it is stock.

Less than 5% of all used vehicles meet the criteria for "excellent" condition.

Read it and weep - in my zip code the "good" private party KBB value on that thing is $9750. It's SEVEN YEARS OLD! Edmunds private party for "clean" is $11750.

i say it definitely depends on thelocation. around here in MD, trucks arent going for anything. when i was thinking about selling my scab, KBB said value was about $7500. i was asking for $7000. best offer i had was $4000.

03 ext. cab short bed white 4x4 offroad xlt cloth interior 5.4 auto real clean from the south up here sold at a dealer for 12.995 and he had a rc/flareside 5.4 same miles same everything sell for 11995. a 00 lariat ext cab flareside with 111k miles black/tint/half tread tires/grey leather, drivers seat was really beat up sold for 7995 at local dealer......and it had a GOOSENECK HITCH!!!!! I thought they were nuts....I think you could get 13k maybe 14995 out of it.......I just don't see someone paying more for a 03 body style then they could get a new body style for...also, trucks around here are bringing full book price even at auctions...they're going for crazy money, selling at book or a hair higher.

I would prob say around 15000 would be a fair price. Here trucks like that, that are lifted and such sell pretty quick if they look nice.
