Idle lope & Intake popping

Can anybody tell me anything about the noise I hear at idle? It is an imbalanced thumping in the intake, sounds like an air pulse. I do have a problem with an "idle lope" that occurs when the engine is cold and is put into gear, then returned to park or neutral. And the pulse in the intake seems to have something to do with it. Maybe an IAC issue? The truck only has 30k miles and is in immaculate condition. I did have the idle issue with the factory intake, I have the AEM Brute Force CAI now
Thanks a lot!

Might be a sticky IAC. Any CEL? Codes? Is the MAF clean?

Check you PCV valve as well. Fram valves can echo thru the system like that.

Hey guys,
Took my truck to advanced auto parts today and they run a code scan and everything is clear and there is no leaks, well according to the scanner. So I purchased a can of MAF cleaner a tamper resistant torque set and went about cleaning the MAF and the IAT sensor. Unhooked my battery and hoped for the best.
The intake thumping noise still continues, Can anybody advise me on what to do next? The guy at advanced auto parts said it sounds like the system is trying to correct itself and may be a sticky IAC or PCV valve like you all stated above. But can anyone tell me how to check on those two items?
Thanks alot,
Tanner

you could try cleaning the IAC and that might temporarily help it so you'll know what to replace
