im gonna black out my emblems and get inlays as well as new overlays just wondering if i should go glass black or flat black with the overlays and the emblem when i paint it .. i also just ordered matte black rockstars

 

Flat!!!! gives it alittle contrast.

thanks i started off with the chrome theme but now im kinda bored with it and leaning towards black, now im gonna black out the emblems get rid of the chrome on the handles and maybe the pin striping the silver however will have to stay for now exspecially since i just paid 600 to have some body work on the botom of the doors due to rust

 

yeah the silver wont look bad as the rockstars have some silver on the stars and stuff.

 

im also putting a grill guard on there just sanded it tonight just gotta paint it black i got if off craigslist for 175 should look good it looks just like yours trimble

 

i loved my grill gaurd. Now that the truck is so high its kinda out of place.

i got mine for $100 on craigslist great steal. makes working in the engine bay easier too

 

use satin black krylon fusion on the badges when you paint them and ask for the balck background on the custom text if you get it from patriot decals. thats how i did mine

 

i was gonna pm you and ask if they did that or if you did b/c your the only one iver seen with that so thanks for the heads up i just ordered them i did flat black with dark shadow gray.. got the inlays the overlays for the emblems and the fx4 decal i have the off road 4x4 decal now so hopefully it looks good
