world of problems

hi everybody, im new to the site, have a bunch of questions hoping some people know the answer to, first off, i have 2 and a half f150s, my daily driver, a 98 f150 4.6l 5 speed 2wd, the truck im selling my dad, a 98 f150 4.6l auto 4wd, and a 98 f150 4.6l auto 2wd parts truck, now lets start with my biggest problem, my 4x4, it has a dead tranny, is it possible to turn my parts truck tranny into a 4x4 tranny? 2nd question, my 2wd has started to develop a problem with its tranny, it has a new clutch, rebuilt tranny, no fluid loss, and shifts fairly good unless cold, angry when cold, trying to start from first or reverse it starts hopping, and is hard to start moving, so i did a fluid change, and some small metal chunks came out, put fresh oil in, and it was fine again for about 100k, now its starting to do it again except its popping outa revese on its own sometimes to, im going to redo my fluid change, but can anyone explain why this is happening??, and for now my final question is if the flareside and style side rear bumpers are the same or atleast simialer? thanks for reading and helping me out

4x4 trans can be built from a 2wd trans, but one youve gone and considered that you may as well have rebuilt the original trans.

there may be a problem with the reverse gear set on the other trans, im not the expert but i do recall reading something about failures with the reverse set. once your gettin metal shavings, its not long for this world.
