Sun visor issues...

The passenger side sunvisor vanity mirror was broken in my 2003 XL and I tought that I can replace it with XLT visors (covered mirrors, from eBay). Unfortunately this was not possible, since the visor clips are not matching.

I also tried Navigator visors (homelink and lighted vanity mirrors), but the clip does not match these either.

Any ideas? If I move the clip, it leaves a nasty hole in headliner.

What about dropping the headliner and moving the clip mount over? There should be additional mounting holes on the roof rail. You may have to stretch the headliner material to fit but it should not leave any ugly holes.

Good idea, but I don't think that I can actually stretch the headliner material to cover this hole.

Anyone with 03 XLT - can you measure the distance between the clip and visor mount? Is it really different in XLT vs XL?
