blower speed resisters? Where?

My blower does not work in 3 of the 4 speeds. I've heard that there are resisters that need replacing. Where are they? I have a 1998 F150 with a 4.6, 2 wheel,

Darn.. I need to get a Haynes manual.. resistors are usually near heater box or firewall (in general). Large 3 prong (or so) connector. Series of coiled wires for resistance. If I was there... I could find it

I also am looking for the location specifically on a 2000 f150 with 5.4l.. Previous descriptions and pics I've seen did not look like my engine compartment/configuration.

Any help would be appreciated.

Under the glove box, behind the fat plastic, going straight up into heater box. You'll see several wires on a connector and it feels like it has 2 screws. I had to put the passenger seat back and get on my back to look up into there
