My research on that code says it's a miss fire. How many miles are on your truck and which engine do you have? Might be time for some new plugs\wires\COP's.

Yup - PO316 means misfire in the first 1,000 rpms. Definitely time for some new plugs\wires\COP's if they are original with that many miles.
