I'm looking at having to replace my old 4.6 romeo soon, and I'm having a difficult time finding a good used 4.6 romeo engine. which leads to my question. I found a 94 Lincoln Town Car with the 4.6 and from what I can find online says that its a romeo engine, however I believe the transmission is the aode, and my truck has the 4r70w. If i just used the long block from this car would its bolt pattern match my truck or is it a no go? and if it matters my truck is a 98 f150 with the 4.6 romeo. Thanks.
