Advice replacing starter in '98 F-150

There appears to be three bolts holding this thing in - the faulty starter. We've got two of the bolts out. There's another bolt on top that we can barely see and cannot figure out how to get out. What exact tools do we need to take it out successfully?? Our tools are limited so please be aware that the tools specified for this task, we will have to purchase. Greatly appreciated. (4.6 liter, 4X4)

Get to the top bolt with a long extension, through the wheel well, just pull the rubber or plastic liner out of your way.

yeah I fought with that bolt for a long time...I hate those starters in these trucks...I used a combination of a few 3/8 extensions and my dad slid it in while i lined it up...it sucked...

I used a deep socket and a extension setup. i took it out a couple times in a row during the motor swap from under the truck. just takes fingering around to find it.
