nitto terra grapplers going on tommorow..

Getting my 265 terra grapplers I just got from discount tire mounted tommorow morning on my stock (gay) lariat 17s....I got to take the 17x10s off for winter....Anyone have any terra grappler expierence? what can I expect? I do wish already that they had a rwl or owl option...

Congrats on the terra grapplers, I've had them for two years now and love them. They do really good in snow and ice too.

They are an excellent tire. As for the raised black letter design of the Nitto Tires, I believe it is because raised white letters had already went out of style when Nitto began selling tires.

Sweet truck, I like those wheels. I've been looking for a 17X10 aftermarket wheel but they seem fairly rare. But yeah, RWL FTW! Especially on the BFG AT KO's.

Yeah they're centerline's but I'm not sure what model. They do look awesome, The previous owner said it was a 2600 dollar wheel/tire set-up....nice but not nice enough for me to pay 2600 hahaha, I'd rather have 285s on those narrow 5 spoke chrome factory 17s and run them year around...I think they're king ranch wheels. I love the RWL look....the grapplers look sweet mounted up, but I just hate my stock wheels....

Why do you need to take the centerlines off for the winter? shouldn't those BFG's do pretty well in snow?

I'm taking my wheels off not because the BFGs don't do good in the snow, the BFGs are awesome, its that the salt will ruin my wheels...they're chrome steel not aluminum....and even then the salt will wreck aluminum ones too. Put the terra grapplers on.....60 dollars later for mounting (ridiculous charges for a 17" rim) and they are awesome, they do float taking off around corners in the rain sometimes but its not a big deal, tried them out in my buddy's sand pit...they throw sand straight up in the air. Great tires. I hate the small 265s though...time to add some springs out back and lift it up some to make it look halfway decent for winter. I got to fix my bad U joints and wheel seal first though...damn thing.

I'll never buy another set of BFG A/Ts because of how bad they suck in the snow. Maybe it was just my old 4.9L but they would not clean themselves for nothin.

My dad has had BFG's on his 97 F250 and his 93 F150s and they both go like hell through snow.......throw it right up over the hood when he turns.....never owned a better tire yet.
