Please, for the love of God tell me how I can program my doors locks so that ALL 4 doors on my SCREW unlock when I put the gear shifter into Park instead of it ONLY unlocking the drivers door. I looked in my manual but didn't see anything. Its frustrating when I go to get in the back of teh truck and I have to re-open the drivers door to hit the unlock switch!! Help!---DirtySCREW

The only thing in my manual was to turn the Automatic locks off. Is THAT my ONLY option?? I like the auto lock feature because of the kids....but I have to have all 4 doors UNLOCK when I put her in Park---DirtySCREW

Dirty, I am glad I am not the only looking for how to fix this!! Have you figured it out yet?

 

when you press the lock/unlock button do all 4 work then? 97-03 are notorious for weak door lock motors. if they are worn out, its an easy fix.

 

Yes, mine lock and unlock when you press the button. What I am trying to figure out is I have the automatic locks on....so when I put it in gear it locks all 4 doors. When I get to my destination and put it in PARK, it ONLY unlocks the drivers door. I'm wanting it to unlock all 4 doors!!!! IS THIS POSSIBLE??????????????????----DirtySCREW

 

x2.. My Explorer unlocks all 4 doors when I put it in park. My screw only unlocks the drivers door.. Especially frustrating when I back out of the garage, park it then go to get something out of the passenger side... ugh.. I finally turned it off and lock the doors manually..
