Fuel Gauge not working

1999 F-150 , The fuel gauge reads 1/2 all the time no matter what the fuel level is. Any Ideas?

probably the sending unit in the tank. does your's have the digital O/D?

mine actually started that today, no it reads an 1/8th of a tank. Put gas in it and it slowly climbed to almost half a tank after about 30 minutes of driving.

Mine will sometimes "bounce" between 1/2 tank and 3/4 tank when driving. I guess I need to replace my fuel sending unit or something. Interested to see more responses on this topic.
