Man do I feel imbarassed.... I need a 4X4.. funny

Funny thing happened the other day with the truck. itd had been raining for a couple days ground completly saturated, so I going down a neighborhood road when a cop turned his lights on down the street behind me, pulled over to wait for him to pass. Got up on the side of the road no more than passenger side in the grass cop passed by, go to accelerate with the ever so slightest touch of the pedal and all i get is the wonderful sound of tires spinning.... Thank god there wasn't anyone else around! I'm already convinced the next truck I get is going to be 4x4 for sure.

Eh thats not too bad. All 4x4s will do that also if you dont put it into 4 wheel.

Does your truck have limited slip? Figure that would have gotten you out if you still had one wheel on the pavement. But yeah, 4x4 FTW. I'm pretty sure I'll get 4x4 on my next truck. I'm just worried I'll get in more trouble with it.

next time just let the truck roll out of it on its own, dont give it any gas and you shouldnt have any problems. Ive parked my truck halfway down into a ditch and it started raining, and my drivers side tires were in standing water when i left, and i just eased it on it very slowly. I have 3.55 open.

I think it also depends on which side is on the pavement.

If you have the need, a 4x4 is the way to go... Bad weather or not... You won't be sorry...
