Been lookin at both of them tonight and I'm tellin you I don't know much about these things at all.. I do about 70% regular driving and 30% towing. I need something to help with towin and performance.. I'm drivin a 2001 ford f150 ext. cab 5.4 I'm plannin on ordering in the next day or so but I can't decide.. I need help here guys.. What is the difference between the two??? THANKS

 

To do it right, I'd recommend you contact Troyer, VMP, or PHP and get something custom. Have you even looked in our Tuners forum?

I have the same truck you do i love mine my buddy has a truck just like us but its a 2000....he has 4 6 drop with 22s, the edge evolution programmer, KnN intake, and borla muffler. and its pretty fast he runs 14.8 in the 1/4 mile everyday of the week

 

i have a edge on mine it hauls pretty good i usually pull a mustang on a 16ft trailer no problem

 

i bought a edge just a few days a go and even just having it on half a tank it improved my mpg over 1mpg and the power is MUCH better !!!! i love it i am not going to get rid of it well woth what i paid...

i got it for 180 and it was under two weeks old...

 

doug, look into custom tuning from PHP. last i heard it was like $25 for the trade in (for the gryphon, recased edge), then $50 a tune, can fit up to 3 custom tunes on it. it will improve your truck much more than the edge did, and they write your tune to support any mods you have (exhaust, intake, etc)

 

well got the edge hooked up in my truck and I was wondering on what yall set the custom tunes to on yalls truck.. like the timing shift firmness, and standard shift point I'm going to run level 2 and my truck shifts out pretty quick and alittle hard ..need alittle help here thanks
