Wider Tires?

Alright. My first post on here and it's going to be a good one. Natl. Tire is having great deals on some tire and wheel packages... and I am over due. I am running a 35/12.5/17 on stock rims and rub only at full turn. I'm wanting to drop down to a 33/15.5/18 set up? What do you think? How bad is that going to rub? BTW, I only have a mild 3" body and a level kit. Would really love to throw on a 6 or 5 susp. lift but I like to actually use the bed of my truck. What are your guys thoughts? Anyone running a 33/15.5 TIRE?

It's an odd size. You will be able to fit a 35x12.50 or a 33x13.50, but I don't know about a 33x15.50. That's pretty wide.

I'm running 35 X 12.5 right now and rubbing, but on stock wheels. I'm thinking with the a 5" backspace and a - offset on the dc-1 wheels, I should be ableto swing it. I'll let you know how it goes.

this is the setup for only $1069.00. This includes the tires and rims, mount and balance, lugnuts and shipping.

I wouldn't go that wide with just a 33". You minus well cut your springs and put a sunbraro on .

I could be wrong, but I think you made a reference to a Mexican? Your spelling and typing reflect maybe you didn't do too hot in school. Good luck with that. As for the tires... I have three friends running a 33x15.5 on their pulling trucks and I don't think any of them role with a sombrero

you're probably looking at some rubbing on the tie rods, torsion bars, control arms, and possibly the frame running a 15.50 wide tire.

Just know, they are having the special because they are/were discontinued. Last I talked to MT (in the summer), they did plan on bringing them back (in the fall), but as of then NTW was pretty much the only place with the 15" wide versions in stock...and they were getting about to the end of them.

Its a good deal, just keep in mind a plan if you have a flat or anything like that. Double check to make sure you will be able to get replacements in the future.

Hey just because your friends have them, doesn't really mean that it looks good.

Dont come on the forum if you can't handle other people's opinion. Your the one that started the thread asking for opions, I gave you one. I think it will look stupid, but some other's may think it looks good. Get over it
