rear door panel removal 1997 f 150
just this on my 97 scab. easiest thing to do is remove the 3 (or 2) bolts on the bottom of the seat back. lift the seat back upwards to get it off the brackets. for the driver's side there are 2 or 3 plastic pop rivets that you push in the center, then remove. unbolt the rear window bolts for the pop out window (if you have one) and just the side on the part that pops out. undo the seat belt and then all that holds it in are the clips. the bottom portion is different as there are hooks that hold that in places...DO NOT try to pry out...pull it up to clear hooks, then out.
as for the passenger side, unbolt the pop out bracket for the window (like the driver's side) and pull off the top portion of the plastic. then there should be 2 screws & 2 pop rivets that hold the upper portion of the bottom plastic in. then like the driver's side. pull up on the plastic as there are hooks holding that into place. do not pull out or the hooks will break.
