Yeah its the rcd kit - and I found it on CL. A guy has had it sitting in his garage; never installed it. So I'm thinking it's too good a deal to pass up.

Lol, you're the second person this week that's asked me to trade hoods!
...I may go talk to the bank tomorrow and take out a small loan. I need a good excuse to build up some credit

Thats because that hood is amazing! And I am jealous.
Thats a good point. Get that lift!!

And then tell me how to get one of those hoods. Without paying an arm, leg, and whatever else they accept these days.

I actually got it on ebay for a pretty good deal. $315 shipped, but insurance paid for it after the truck went through a hail storm. Just search on ebay for '03 f150 hood and you'll get plenty of results. Also look on craigslist and you might get lucky.

Ill help installing the lift
Might actually take you up on that. Don't you do alignments also?

brad, looks like the same hood, but I got mine from pricebusterchris. I believe it has gone up in price a bit, but may be cheaper than the one listed above (though that still isn't a bad deal).
And pat, the tires I have on there now were stock on the FX4s...but are a couple sizes bigger than what mine came with originally. I only plan on going up to 285/70/17s with the lift. Not to copy ChrisT, but I think his truck has the perfect stance for what I'm going for. I'll probably have to regear to 4.10s also. So it could be a little while before I get the lift installed :o

Well, I am going to have one on the way then pretty soon I guess.

I would go for 4:30's but thats me. You will wish you hadnt got 4:10's if you could get something better for the same price. Not to mention that your RPMs would not be bad at highway speed, and you will get better MPGs as well.
