cant decide between my truck and a subaru

i cant decide to either keep my truck, or get a subaru STI. the subaru is an amazing car, awd, turbo, good mpg, fast, and really fun to drive, but on the other hand my truck is awsome lookiing, but it gets terrible gas mileage, but i have a bed to haul stuff in. i cant decide, and i really want the STI but i cant decide if i should sell my truck or not, so if you guys have any ideas let me hear emm!

Is your truck paid off? If so, the cost of the sti would be too much to justify the mpg increase. What do you use your truck for? Do you mostly just drive it as you would a car? Or do you use it to haul stuff from time to time?

my buddy has a wrx sti and he loves it but talks all the time he wishes he had a truck and actually tried to buy a fx4 but they didn't have a 4 door so he didn't trade it. i owned a Forrester sti in japan and man it was fun so i see where the quandary is between the 2.

I agree that the STI is an awesome car but I wouldnt trade any of my trucks for it. I would definitely buy it if had the cash just to add it to my stable!

yeah i dont haul that much with my truck thats the thing, its mostly drivin like a car. and i the sti is prefectly capable of pulling a small one place snowmobile trailer with my sled on it. although the insurance is pricey i would love to have one. and it would suit my needs just fine. and even though it is a street car, its perfectly capable of goin off road, after all, thats pretty much what its built for, rally. but i told myself to that if i was going to keep my truck im getting a 6 inch fabtech lift, but if im not i will be getting an sti. and an sti is the only thing i would trade my truck for. but as of now im keeping my truck.(but no lift for a little while cuz i dont have the money, but i will be getting some lightning style heads with bi xenon hid kit. oh yeah and if i get a lift, i think ill be getting cut outs to, with 38's. but right now with the 10mpg im getting i have to save my money for a while.

Actually, the F-150 has THE highest domestic content of any vehicle, something like 78%. The next highest is a low 70% range. Good try though. As far as the Subaru thing goes, they look ho-hum for a jap car, better all riced up with rims and go fast crap but actually have the ***** to back it. You pay dearly for it but hey what the f. Get a Lightning and get a bit of both worlds.

yeah idk y, i think its cuz i was heavy on the pedal that week, lol but yess a stock sti has serious power output, they have ***** like no other to back it up. if i had that car id be racking up tickets right and left. haha the speed and agility is insane on those cars. but i think the truck is going to be stayin here at home for a little while longer.
