new here got some questions

first of let me introduce myself. my name is dennis and i just picked up this beauty on monday

03 fx4 5.4 87000 miles

now when i take off it studders a bit at first. im guessing it might be time for a tune up or could this be something else.

ok so i only really have 1 question right now. my mind went blank its almost 3 am and im tired lol.

thanks for the help. this is the first ford truck i have owned. my previous car was a 96 gt mustang. needless to say this is a whole new world to me. not new to trucks just new to the ford truck

If it's still got the original plugs at 87k, it's about time for new ones.

if it shudders when you first take off it mite be one of your universal joints on your driveshaft, thats what happened with my truck, shuddered when it first took off

yeah my shudder only happened on takeoff, and i could definently tell that it was not engine related, but there is a difference between studder and shudder so idn, because you mentioned it studdered

thanks guys. yea i plan on doing plugs as soon as possible. i do have a question though. i have seen one nightmare story after another on here about plug changes and them being a nightmare and breaking and hard to get to and all that. is this something i need to worry about?
