are you talking about the speakers in the door? or like aftermarket subs? if aftermarket, it depends on what type of box you want and where you want them, and how much you want to put into it,

all depends on where you want to put them. i have 2 10"s but you can go bigger depending on which ones you get and how much you spend

You can buy slim profile sub boxes made for regular cabs

didnt see the regular cab part earlier but id suggest making your own boxes with some slim subs. the subs will require less airspace and still sound good and you can make the box or boxes fit however you want.

if you want to go bigger you can always cut your center seat out and make two captains chairs and build the box into a center console.

You go pick up some of the 10" cvr's and make a box or two to go behind the seat. They sound really good, but you dont have room to put stuff back there after you put that box in there.

music moose makes boxes to fit behind regular cabs' seats. they also make boxes that go under scab's back seat etc.

you can also search MTX thunderform. they have exact fit applications too.

I have a kenwood-kfc-w3011 in my 01 reg cab and I need to make a slanted box and it will be perfect. I have a square box now and it's a little too tight. I definatly reccmoend a kicker cvr! they pound really good and are small as hell.

I have 2 12' pioneer premier shallow mount subs in my 98 reg cab. Built a custom box to fit behind my seat, they sound great. The manufacturer will specify a recomended volume required for the subwoofer enclosure, you should follow this as it will give you the best sound for your speaker. If you go to the rockford fosgate website they have a program online that helps you figure out dimensions/volumes of you enclosure.
