Definitely no spacers man. Uhm.. I think the only way you are going to get away from rubbing the frame would be lift spindles, unless it does not bother you. Rubbing drives me crazy so I wont run a set-up that will rub.

i'm in the same exact predicament gauge one. mine rub the frame and i'm thinking of getting the lift spindles but i don't want it to look funny. butt i don't think it will look terrible. i wish i could see it but no one is gonna a 2" leveling kit and a 3" spindle lift with 285/75/16 size tires.

ps. if someone does have what i just explained i need to see it please

Ive heard lift spindles reek havic on our trucks. waering out ball joints and other pieces faster. If I didnt hear those, I would prolly already have put them on and 2in lift coils (I have a 2in lift spacer, but think that a red coil thats longer than stock designed to give 2in of lift, cant use it with spacer cuz 2.5in is as high as you can go w/ stock uppers, will look cleaner and look like I actually have done a complete lift, not just lift and no show if yall know what I mean)

I have pics of my truck with that lift and 305/70/16 or 265/75/16s.

As for reeking havoc I’m not sure how. Everything (tie rods, sway bar, balljoints) stay in a stock location. Yes the spindle does push the tire out but with about 10,000 miles on my truck after the life I haven’t had a problem (knock on wood). The issue arises from the bigger tires you will undoubtedly put on after you lift the truck which will increase wear. However its not enough to cause any real concern, atleast in my experience.

No your stance would not look funny at all. The lift spindles will bring the front up 3.5", but you can put 3" blocks back there and run 35's if you want to.

Believe me.. its not going to look funny. Of course, it will look better with bigger tires, but not terrible. Dnasty was running the 7.5" fabtech lift with 265's.

Lift spindles keep everything in a stock location. You dont even need new shocks or anything else to run them, and they are a true 3.5". You are correct about the UCA's and using a 2.5" lift spacer. Bigger tires are what get you when it comes to wear.

Bigger tires put more stress on stock parts. Its more weight to hold up, turn, and push around. Thats why I said that bigger tires can potentially cause things to go out faster. Of course, there are parts that just fail at random regardless of how big the tires are. I am only saying that you are not going to have to worry about lift spindles destroying your suspension like or reeking havic as you stated earlier.
