do your turn signals work like normal and just the hazards not work right? if so Did you find an answer to the problem? I have the same thing and would like to know if there is a cheap fix I can do.

Turn signals work just fine. Try to put the Hazards on and they flash once and quit out, turn off and back on and they do the same thing.

Sounds like your flasher relay.

Usually its on its own under the steering column area. Never had to replace it on my truck but on my mustang that was the issue and thats where it was.

yea id say try swapping the relay but on our trucks im pretty sure that the one relay controls both the hazards and the turn signals so since one works it might not be that.

its under the dash above the space between the brake and gas pedals. your gonna have to feel around there and find it then its got a cover that is taped down. after you get the cover off the relay is the back on closest to the fire wall. make sure you keep track of which way it was in there. get a new one at autozone for 15 bucks and see if that works.

also it might be a short with the switch.
