Any one ever hear of the tie rod end just letting go ? I was on my way home from work and all of a sudden my truck stats to jerk back and forth like crazy i pull over to look and the left outer tie rod end is broke right off ? drove 1 km doing 10 km to the nearts shop to park her . should i replace all 4 of them or is just one ok for now.

 

I think a member here had that happen. I'd replace all of them.

 

Always replace them in pairs as a minimum, like both outer tie rods left and right.

But its probably safer to just replace all four while you have the truck torn down, and then you only will pay for the alignment once

 

Replace all 4 with greaseables.
