I have a 1997 F-150 XLT, straight side, 6 foot bed. Got rear ended and need to replace the bed, rear bumper and straighten the frame where the bumper bolts on.

Any advice? I am sure it will be an owner retained salvage deal. Also, what year truck beds fit on this model.

To bad as this truck is paid for and has been a very dependable ride for many years. Boy, I really don't want another car payment now.

 

if it is ritten off go find another one with the money you get their is a reason they do that, I work at a body shop. If you are dead set on getting it back then take it to a shop to get the fram pulled they will have the correct equitment and know how to do it correctly.
