truck idles but dies when put in drive
i have a 03 f150 5.4 and it starts and idles but if u give it gas it misfires and if u put it in drive it barely runs and then dies.. the overdrive light is flashin and the check engine is also on

Not really cross posting, as you are leaving info out on your other thread.
Search for flash overdrive light few threads on the topic.
Also you said you have a DTC P0012 code, or 12 codes, those would also be useful to include in your post.
Also, using the Trans forum for the trans problem, and the correct engine forum for the engine problem might get better results.
