Bad News

Well My New Gauges are screwed. There is a place where the wire meets up with the gauge face to make it glow. It is burnt and it was smoking. I am gonna try to see if I can hopefully return them for a refund or if they are under warranty from APC or something. For now I am repping the stock gauges again. I really liked these ones too. Hopefully something will work out.

Just wondering you do all the body work yourself?
Seeing as you said your just 16... Just amazed if you did those body works yourself.
Great job on the truck, and is those gauges overlays?
Btw, where your headers on the truck before you got them.

I did all of the body work on the truck and my dad did the painting. Thanks, I am really happy with how it turned out. Yes those are gauge overlays and I love them but I am in the works of getting them warrantied because one of the connections fried. And Yes, the headers were on the truck when I bought it.

I figured Its time for an update. Last Week my alternaltor decided to crap out on me, so I replaced it with an Alternator from a super duty. Also, I was cleaning out the garage and found some slotted taillight covers. They are DSG cause they were on my dad's truck. Should I paint 'em silver and throw 'em on my truck until I get some new tails? Or DSG or not put them on at all? Also an update about the gauges. The guy said he'll send me new ones if I pay the shipping which will come out to 15 bucks. OR I can get a Full Harley Cluste r for 50 bucks which i want SO BAD. So guys, What should I do???

slotted tails covers FTL....please no haha

also if you get the harley cluster youre going to have to find a dealership that will be willing to flash it to your truck....oh and youll have a boost gauge for no reason :P lol

If i get the harley cluster i will just swap the circuit boards which is an easy fix. the boost gauge would be useless. For Now.

Update.............

Hmm... Let's see here.... It has been quite some time since i updated this thing... From the last time i updated it I have removed the door moulding and the chrome door trim, Replace the spark plugs and belt, Did a full detail including clay and wax, Got another subwoofer and built a box for it, Got some Alpine 6.5 component speakers and moved the pioneer 6x8's to the rear doors.... And thats about all i can think of other than what i did today which is Drive an hour and a half to the nearest good auto wreckers to pick up a new front bumper which i called about on wednesday and they said they would be open today, drive all the way there only to find out that they took an extra day off for the long weekend. Needless to say I will be making another trip back there on tuesday.
