Yea all it should be is a relay or something of the like that way I can have a switch to use it when I feel like it and also if the alarm goes off then it will go nut for donuts

The guy told me that they wire the alarm into the steering wheels as well as the little speaker that goes in the engine compartment. He said its illegal for them to wire the alarm to anything not in the steering wheel. I guess that guy just did not want to hook me up a train horn alarm system... ***.

I've already been hit once, that's why my nav unit is of questionable quality, but it has a detachable faceplate. Hide everything and take part of it with you. Of course they can always kick down your door.

Thats ********* up!! I always worry bout my truck getting broken into. Funny story I was in my house and heard what I thought was my truck driving away. I ran out my front door to realize it was a neighbor. He had just installed his new exhaust and sounded exactly like my truck. I told him bout it the next day and he laughed at me.

No ones is going to know other than you and the person who installed it. The guy just did not want to do it, and told me it was illegal.

My kid is stationed right there in National City. The southern/eastern towns around San Diego look rough.. California in general seems to pretty much suck. The kid was telling me lots of people are having there gas stolen by people who drill holes in the tank.
