igniton problem 03 5.4

im new to the forum so i dont know exactly were to post this, but i have done some searching and havent been able to come up with anything on it, my friend has an 03 f-150 4x4 with the 5.4 engine, its got a missfire cylinder g seondary he has replaced the coil a couple times and it keeps coming back, but it also has o2 sensor codes...but i would figure the o2 would interfere with more than one if it were o2 at fault

so my question/s is can the o2 sensor make it miss

is there a way to make the igniton a whole lot easyer to deal with coil pack wise?? i know on some cars you can swap out for simpler setups just by doing some wiring....i just want to know if there is a write up on it somewere??? thanks any help is greatly appriciated

swap injectors, see if the miss is still there... did you check the spark plug in that cylinder? is the o2 sensor code reading lean or rich?

put a new plug in and see what happens. i had a misfire on cylinder 1 awhile back, switched the COPs between 1 and 2, it stayed on 1. so i went ahead and changed the plug and COP and it fixed it.

Post the EXACT P-codes. Pull the Autolites, put Motorcrafts in, and buy a whole set of COP's from Global or Uneek on Ebay for 80 bucks.
