Removing hub from ball joint help!

Okay so today Ive got a day off from work and decided to change out the lower ball joints on my truck since they are both pretty much shot. Anyways got the drivers side installed without any real problems and got going on the passenger side and got to the last step before removing the hub and cannot get the hub to come off the lower ball joint. Its out of the upper ball joint and tie rod end and the cv axle's disconnected and moves freely now but the hub will not budge off this one for some reason. I've tried using a ball joint seperator tool and also tried beating it down with a rubber mallet both with no success at all. Any ideas what the deal could be? The drivers side came out so easy its frustrating that this one will not even budge...

A pickle fork and a BFH will pop it off.

Yep finally got it out about 2 hours after I posted that. Took a pickle fork and several HARD swings with a 5lb sledge hammer for it to finally pop off. Got no clue why it was stuck on as badly as it was.
