Well fellas, I wanted to say a big thanks to everyone at F150online and more specifically this section of the forum.

After a lot of thought and consideration, I traded in the ole' 03 FX4 Scab today on a super clean Ford certified preowned Mustang GT 5 speed with 29k miles. There will probably be something that will make me wish I still had a truck everyday but for now I'm having a complete BLAST in the car. Once I sell off a few things from the truck I plan to start adding the basics to the car (intake, tune, and Magnapack catback).

I'll have to check up on ya'll every so often to see how the trucks have progressed. It will probably make me miss mine even more.

 

Your truck was pretty damn nice lookin' too but I'm sure the trade off will be worth it for ya'. Any pics of the Stang?

Good idea torkum. The truck is located at Johnson Sewell Ford in Marble Falls, TX. The used car sales manager and several salespersons had nothing but good things to say about the excellent condition so hopefully they can find another good owner for it. I took the Helo Maxx 6 wheels off but put the Eagle Alloy 102s back on since I sold the FX4s a while back. Truck will also have the AEM Brute Force intake since I couldn't find the stinkin IAC breather hose for the stock intake as well as the 3" Flowmaster 40 series exiting through the 4" Magnaflow tip.

 

congrats on the new car. im sure you will miss your truck. when ever i sold a truck, i always wished i had another. i am also one that would like to see pics of your new car though.

5.4L with 75600 miles on the clock.

 

The Mustang is the same color as my truck. I wish I could jump into the 2010 Shelby, so since I can't have fun for me.
