seat swap??

well i already did the whole expy console swap.. so of course now i end up with bucket seats.. well on longer trips these stock 98 seats become very uncomfortable... that and there is noo bolster support.. in general these stock seats suck.. im lookin for any type of input on what can be done to swap out a nicer set.. and like what kind of car can you get a nice set of seats out of???

ahh lol try some caddy seats or lincoln they are nicely padded... Buddy used a set out of 99/2000 Denali that were very comfortable for the long trips. All depends on a persons comfort factor I would assume.

To help you narrow down what you want, you may want to consider a few things like -

1) What kind of material are you looking for? Leather or Cloth?

2) What color seat do you want?

3) Are you planning any more interior work, such as painting or dying everything black (that's what I want to do) or whatever other color you can think of? This may also affect the color of seat you want, in order for the color of the seat and interior go well together.

Anybody else have any factors to consider?

you need to make sure to measure the length width and height of the seats you find and be sure they will fit where you want them to before you buy them.
here's a pic of a seat swap in a 07 rear. seat brackets had to be made for them to sit on.
the front seats will be swapped out someday with the same kind as the rear but with heated and power options.

thanx for the tips..lol i reaalllly wish my interior was TAN.. but i dont feel like going through the hassle of pulling the dash out for a tan one.. soooo Gray it stays.. the only thing i did to break up all the boring gray was paint the radio bezel and door lock inserts RED to match the outside..

If you were in TX, I'd trade out dashes with you...I have the med. parchment interior.
