Cool Ok here the questions....

I searched on here and on the web, and it would seem that no one can give a clear point of where the door chime noise maker device is located in the 97-03 F150's. I am hoping someone could point me in the correct direction as I do not want to cut the wiring or splice in a switch ( i can just do the door latch trick if i wanted to use a switch and save the wiring, lol)
I dont have the PATS system on my 97 and my 00 does. I would assume the dinger is in the relatively same area on both and would appreciate any direction as to where it is located and if it can be "offed" without changing the other functions of the truck?

Thanks to any and or all that answer back.

I believe on my 97' its behind the drivers side kick panel, not sure which wire to cut though..i know in my 96' ranger that module controlled the wipers and inside lights
