97' 4x4 offroad with axle code 19?

97' 4x4 offroad with axle code 19?
So i just got my 97' and the axle code is 19 which everywhere i look is a 3.55 open diff, I thought the offroad package came with limited slip in the rear?

Nope, but starting in 04 they do.
My 02 Fx4 had a 3.55 open to

Hrmph... learn something new every day. I always thought the FX4 package in even 02-03 included LS, skid plates, bilstiens, etc. Good to know.

Not even Bilsteins. At one time they used Ranchos, but that stopped with the 04. You can even get 3.55s on a FX4. A lot depended upon what size tires were ordered as to whether you got 3.55 or 3.73.
