fuel filter help!!!!

I've got a 98 F-150 with a 4.6, second attempt to replace the fuel filter.
I can get the rear clip no problem, but can't get the front clip to let go. I've got the tool to insert inside the line but can't get it to let go!! Also the clamp holding the filter in place is so tight I can't move the filter to help in any way!!

Any tip would greatly help!!!!

The connection may be corroded a little bit. I had this problem with mine. Just take a pair of pliers and try to twist the connection a little bit to break it loose. It should twist freely around the connection. Then use your disconnect tool and it should come right off.

I always using the filter bracket, push the fuel line fittings inward/into the filter and then use the tool. This will allow the safety spring clip to relax and then use the tool.

I is probably just corroded as mentioned above. I do want to point out, that I used to use fram filters for the fuel. I discovered they wouldn't release a well as the OEM filters. So is it possible, that it has an aftermarket filter on it now?

Update!!!!

I built a small tool to spread the clamp holding the filter in place. This allowed me to spin the filter, plus the fact I lubed up the connect and bingo, third time was a charm. I now have a new filter in place. As simple as the task looked , it still was not that easy due to limited space for your hands!

Thanks to all to replied with some tips!!!
