Hello,

When backing-up my 2000 F-150 XLT 5.4 Off Road, the truck makes a horrendous squeeking sound. This does not happen while driving forward, it only occurs in reverse.

Someone said it could be the u-joint? Any thoughts?

It's most likely your u-joints because i had a buddy that had the same problem after a while you will notice the sound when you down shift to after a quick fix the sound was gone
