well, it definitely looks good. i want to try doing some extra pieces i have so match the plastic that's in my lightning. that would definitely save me some money instead of buying the black plastic from a guy, since he wants $125 for 3 pieces of plastic

That did turn out nice. How much of a PITA was it to remove the dash? Looks like you have quite a few F-150's in your drive way.

I'll be doing this sometime this summer. Truck will be paid off by the end of this month, so I can start with the mods I've been wanting to do for awhile now. All-black leather interior is up there on my list too.
Looks awesome btw

looks nice. I had a few gloss black pieces i had professionally done in my silver 03. I wonder how the glare is going to be with satin vs gloss. Im really tempted to do mine again, i loved the way it looks. Did you use any clear? Or plan to?

It was a little bit of a hassle for the first time doing it.. trying to find all the little hidden screws that are tucked behind stuff.. but its not overly hard.. took me about an hour and a half the first time taking it out

In all honesty.. i had it sitting out in the sun drying.. and the only piece i really saw and shine to was the surround for the steering column... Really just looks like a factory black dash... IMO Definately worth the time and effort... soon im going to be finishing the rest of the plastics in the cab along with the overhead console.. im ordering Black carpeting from LMCtruck just have to find a place that does overhead console supporting headliners in black for a 97 i'll keep yas posted

and Thanks for the compliments everyone

you can just cut where you need to on the headliner, and might have to fill down the tiny gaps between the overhead console and the headliner.

I can get you pics of the cutouts in my factory headliner if you'd like. Im actually going to the longer Expy overhead console, so ill be doing the same basic concept as you
