What to do?
So I have reached a point with my truck that I just don't know what to do. I have made my truck pretty rugged, esspacialy for a 2wd, but now I am looking at the suspension, wheels, and tires. I know I don't want to do a full suspension lift but not sure if I want to leavel the front and leav it, level the front and then lift the back to match the way it sits now, or just leav it and put some wheels on it. As far as wheels I know I don't want anything above a 17 and that no matter what I want wheels and not crome since I hate my stockers but if I lift do I want bigger tires otherwise I would just go for the wheels first and then figure it out from there. So what would you guys suggest.
Since you say you don't want to go larger than 17's, that will pretty much rule out the street truck or lowered look. I'd lift is slightly and install some 17's. You could install 2 inch Daystar coilspring spacers, 3 inch lift spindles or a 3 inch body lift to fit 33's. Or you could combine all three and run 35's!
I vote for a lift. My opinion is a bit biased since I went the lifted route with my 02' 2wd. I can appreciate a clean lowered truck, but for me personally what I use my truck for lifting it was the only way to go. I have many pics in my gallery of my 6" lift running 33's. Good Luck with what ever you decide.
