Dash Lights Partially Out

The letters and symbols that illuminate green, red, and blue on my A/C controls on the dashboard are not lighting up anymore on the majority of the control panel.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Can I do it myself easily or will it cost me?

Thanks.

Yeah mine just started a few days ago with a small corner of the panel. But it's moved onto nearly the whole thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like maybe the bulbs are burnt out. The bezel around the center console pops right out. This will give you access to the controls. Find either the Hayne's or Chiltons repair manuals for your truck. It will show you how to fix this this. Whole thing shouldn't be more than $100 and take an afternoon to fix.

you cant get to the control just by popping off the radio bezel. you have to take off most of the dash to access the bottom screws on the a/c panel. there are two bulbs in there. they are #194 bulbs.

in the hvac?
if so, take off the radio bezel, unscrew the 4 screws holding it on, then pull it out and theres 2 194/161 bulbs, swap them out and you're back in business.
