'01 Supercrew Passenger Side Punch / Pass Throughs

Hey guys -

I have a quick question. I am trying to install a amateur radio system in my truck. I am mounting one antenna on each fender. I have located a punch through / pass through for the antenna wire near the steering column, but I was wondering if there might be one on the passenger side? I looked and then my dad looked with no luck.

I'm not sure how much information would help - 2001 F150 SuperCrew 5.4.

I am trying to run the power on through the passenger side to keep it away from the antenna wire, but also it is a close run to the battery.

Thanks in advance,

Michael

there is the large grommet above the steering column on the fire wall on the drivers side. Unfortunately there isnt anything easy to get to on the passenger side firewall due to the AC system on that side.

You could bring it in through the back of the fender opening where the wires go out to the door.

There is also a large cabin vent on the back wall behind the plastic trim back wall, and behind the carpet insert.

Thank you very much for the information. I'll probably ask for some advice from the guys in my Amateur Radio club to see if there are any interference issues.

Thanks again for the reply -

Michael
