5 lug to 6 lug?

i've been wondering if its possible to change our bolt pattern to the same as the new body styles? i like the 20" wheels on the 06-08 lariats, kr's, fx4s, etc... and think they would look good on our body style

Google "wheel/lug adapters"....they run usually around 100...but can't remember if that's per set or per pair.....

I'm not a fan of the adaptor idea, but swapping would be a great idea if you want ANY wheel. Hardly anyone has a 5X135 wheel anymore in a decent size!!! I've been shopping for wheels for around a year now...any time I find a wheel I like, they don't have our bolt pattern. If I get (rarely and extremely) lucky and find a wheel I like with our bolt pattern, they don't have the size I want. Several companies, Pro Comp for sure, have even gone as far as to announce that they're not making our bolt pattern any longer.

well, I know for a fact it is possible to convert our front bolt pattern to 5x5.5 using a Dodge hub and rotor. It will work without further issues. Here is the thread:https://www.f150online.com/forums/ot...g-pattern.html

it may be possible to convert to the 6x135 pattern using a newer F-150 hub assembly, but the 5x5.5 pattern is much more universal, and therefore desirable.

well i dont really mind it being less universal since the wheels i want are oem on the 04-08 bolt pattern...im liking this hub swap idea though if it would work.
