I put Lightning ground effects on my 2000 and you can still see it a little. The mudflaps actually dug into the paint on mine.

yeah, the fender flares from the supercrew model that do not contain mud flaps will line up/bolt up correctly. this eliminates the problem.

ok so the flares off a supecrew will work. yea they dug into the paint on mine when i took them off and they looked terrible with the flares cut on the bottoms. stupid design IMO . and there a pain to get off. i i was thinking ford had some kind of little rocker piece that would do there so protect the paint guess not

As far as I know Bushwacker only made Styleside flairs. Is that what you used?

Yep, I got the Styleside ones and shaved the front to follow curves and the back just a bit. I have a template I made once I was done with one side to do the other. I can send it to you if you want.

Cool I see you live in Maple Grove. I have a good friend who lives there, He owns all of the "Muller Family Theaters" in the Twin Cities area.

Do you have pics of the templates? I would like to look into adding these to my truck with some wheel spacers, I've been wanting to do it for a while. It looks really good

here is a picture. This follows the line of the front of the fender. I used this to do the shaving.

Great, thanks! That gives me a very good idea on what needs to be done. They look like they turned out great on your truck!
