All black trucks show 'em off!
JT, your truck looks good. that thing really doesnt have a lift? it looks sweer man. i wish i had a screw instead of my scab. it would come in really handy since i have a little one on the way. but i can afford to get another truck.
Absolutely love your truck man!!! I Wanna do that to mine but mine(35"s) is a 97' with 4.6 and 3.55 gears...i don't know how long it will last. Did you crank stock keys or do you have aftermarket keys?
Thanks for the compliments...
I have been following various F150 forums and have seen others add 35's, so I gave it a shot.
Torsions raised the front 1 3/4". Tires raised it another 2". I have a 5.4 with 3.55's and notice a small decrease in power, but i can live with it.
I think that I will lift the body in the spring because any serious offroad adventure is gonna stuff the sidewalls of the tires into the fender.

i think youd be ok without liftin it ive seen sum pretty hardcore 4wheelin on just keyed up with 35's on oem's.
Does it rub any how often?

As far as rubbing, I ground the rear fiberglass to give some extra room. The front fenders are trimmed about an inch. At full turn there is rubbing. I think if it flexes and the wheel is turned that it is gonna rub.
heres mine, its a cletus and bigdad lookalike.
hey cletus, let me know what youre going to do with that grill guard when you replace it with that huge *** bumper.
