Had a busy weekend of putting some new things on the truck. Installed a stock lightning grille, tinted the windows, put on my new wheels/tires and cleaned it up.

I can't really tell that you tinted the windows.

 

looks great.... Id like to get a hold of a lightning grille as well. If you ever get bored with it, search "lightning grille mod" and you'll see some pics with the chrome moldings over the slats.

Also did you add the FX4 decals?

I have seen some with the chrome molding and they almost look like a harley grille. The FX4 decals were on there when I bought it, I might remove them though since it isnt an FX4 and put some offroad decals or something like that in its place.

 

I got it over on the lightningrodder.com forums. I only paid $50 shipped for it, but it has a small crack in the top left hand corner (cant notice when installed)

I dont know if I want to sell it yet, I kinda want to hang onto it just incase something happens to my current one.

your truck puzzles me tho cus it had the 97-98 rims, an FX4 sticker and a 99+ front end..

Yea I picked up on that too.... My 99 had the same grille, it was almost silver. And no it wasnt faded.

I often thought about painting my fender flares fx4 charcol as well as the bumper bad and changing the wheels.

 

It's a 99, but my guess is the owner before me maybe had different rims and just bought a cheap stock set when he traded it in, and probably put the fx4 stickers on because he liked the way they look.
