Need Transfer Case Help!

New to the site, and relatively new truck owner. I've got a 1998 F-150 4.6L V8. I recently got a crack in my transfer case and am looking to replace it, but apparently Ford doesn't make that transfer case any longer. Anyone have any good suggestions where I might find either a used and or rebuilt transfer case? Any suggestions are appreciated!

try ebay, aswell as a google search possibly

Borg Warner 4406

Its not entirely hard to upgrade to something different:
NP205's are popular.

Profab, SCS, and Atlas would be an amazing swap but $$$

the thing is, Cecil, the 97-98's had the VSS speed gear on the transfer case which controls the speedometer. He needs one from those years, otherwise he will have to make provisions, either converting over to the 99+ PATS system, or making something else work.

call the local salvage yards in your area, in addition to ebay to find one. you need a borg warner 4406, specify manual shift or electric shift for a 97-98 F-150.

Thanks for all the help! On my way to fixing up an old Transfer Case from a local salvage yard. I'll probably end up saving a few hundred bucks thanks to you guys! Thanks again!
