97-04 Transformation Thread

Dug up some older pics of my truck today and was going to post up the transformation but i realized there isnt a thread for our body style.

So here it is, post up some pics of how your truck looked like when you got it and how it looks now!

The day i got her, all stock except for some tint, stereo & alarm

New rims off stepmoms FX4 w/ brand new HUGE BFG All Terrains lol

Removed Sport sticker & new headlights w/ HIDs

HD Valence, 2" shackles, 10K HID fogs

And thats about it until this summer

Gosh, I bought this truck brand spankin new in 02'. I wish I could find some pics from when she was new. I sure have done a lot to her over the years, but I have slowed down considerably with the modding of the truck recently. I'd love to get some after market wheels eventually.

Here's one dated back the farthest I can find (prior to lifting)

Here's one shortly after the lift kit I put on in 05'

And here is a more recent one with the bull bar. It's one of my favorite pics.

Thanks man. Below are specs. Guy named Kenny in Glen Burnie who runs Supersuspensions a.k.a Quality Automotive installed the kit. I see you're from Bmore so you probably know the area.

6" RCD lift kit w\ Bilstiens
RCD rear traction bars
4.56LS
AF1 intake
Troyer tuned XCAL2
Westin Bull bar & Nerf bars

Yes indeed. That was the main reason I went with the RCD over the Fabtech 7.5 lift. It helped my wallet big time with being able to stick with my stock wheels. Now I'm itching to hurt the wallet some and purchase some **** Cepek DC-1 wheels in black

tarajerame, that Harley speaks for it self, Awesome! But, I really dig the green truck. Talk about a sleeper!

when i first bought it from my brother in jan. '08...

interior shot of when i bought it:

after doing some paint to the interior and adding expy console...since this pic, i've painted the "base" of the console tan and left the top black...matches a little better than the black:

after hail storm (aka new paint job ) and fx4 wheels off a buddy's truck:

after ptm valance, billet grille, L headlights

since the last pic, i've added 2" drop shackles and i've reduced the gap from the bumper to the grille (they put the bumper on at the body shop). I plan to get rid of that billet grille and go with an L grille.
...still a work in progress; after L grille, i want 20" wheels, then i'll start savin up for the performance mods...should have the truck paid off by april, so that will free up alotta money (hopefully for a supercharger kit!)
